I tried to make the beaded model for this system yesterday and today. I found there is a serious problem concerning the neck structure. It is not hard to see that the four necks in this tetrahedral structure (tetrapod) are in fact corresponding to the inner part of a torus with D6d symmetry. Thus, if we connect two structures (tetrapods) together, they must be staggered. I am not sure if this is compatible with the 3D structure.
